Ward Hadaway has announced the appointment of seven newly qualified solicitors, following a successful training period.

The newly qualified solicitors will remain with the firm, working across a diverse range of departments, including commercial, construction, corporate, litigation and real estate. They add to a growing Ward Hadaway team, with its total headcount now at 499.

The graduates are Adam Kurowski, Anna Taylor, John Hesketh, Jordan Barber, Lucy-Beth Pearl, Mia Armstrong and Rebecca Yates.

Ward Hadaway has a strong tradition of nurturing emerging talent, with many of its senior leaders having built their entire careers at the firm, starting from their training days here.

The company is focused on providing a high-quality learning experience by offering a broad range of opportunities across its offices and teams. In doing so, it moulds and nurtures future leaders in law and legal practice.

Caroline Jones, emerging talent manager at the firm, said: “I am delighted to celebrate with our newly qualified solicitors as they continue their careers at Ward Hadaway. Every year I am hugely impressed by the quality of the graduates we recruit and train and this year’s cohort is no exception.

“It gives me great pleasure to oversee a training programme that has built such a strong reputation for nurturing talented lawyers and developing the future leaders of our profession.

“This enables us to attract a diverse pool of great individuals and provide them with best-in-class training, ongoing development and continuous support, plus for many of them, a lifelong career.

“Congratulations to our recruits, each is thoroughly deserving of their new role.”

The new solicitors completed a two-year training contract which involves four placements, each lasting six months, in different departments.

Commercial solicitor Lucy-Beth Pearl said: “Starting my career at Ward Hadaway after training with the firm was always the goal, and to achieve it brings me great pride.

“My newly qualified colleagues and I have worked extremely hard to get to this point, with the help and support of the emerging talent team, and the partners and associates who’ve taken the time to train and prepare us for qualification.

“The training programme itself was excellent, well-structured and extremely thorough, providing great opportunities to experience a range of legal settings.

“The team here fosters a culture that is both nurturing and stimulating and values the contributions of all.

“I’m looking forward to continuing my career with Ward Hadaway as part of the commercial team.”
