Sunderland Empire and UK Productions are delighted to launch Magic Tickets – a ticket-giving scheme offering theatregoers the opportunity to add an additional ‘Magic Ticket’ to a theatre booking for just £10 and send a less fortunate child and their family to see the sparkling panto Cinderella, in Sunderland this Christmas.
In partnership with Together for Children, customers will be able to add a Magic Ticket to their order, which will then be distributed to deserving families within the City of Sunderland.
The North East’s very own Scarlett Moffatt, who will star as the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella, is helping to launch the scheme: “Every year me and my family go to panto at Christmas, but sadly there are lots of families who are less fortunate and unable to enjoy this festive tradition. I’m thrilled to launch Magic Tickets in Sunderland, it’s a wonderful scheme that will grant a child the wish to experience the magic of pantomime at the Sunderland Empire this Christmas.”

As well as being available to individuals to purchase, local businesses are encouraged to support Magic Tickets and help bring panto magic to more families in Sunderland.
