A North East business festival is set to return for a fourth time in October, with another packed line-up of events.
Sunderland Business Festival will run from the 14 – 18 October and will include expert presentations, panel discussions, fireside chats, networking, workshops and more.
The line up for this year’s event will be announced over the coming weeks, with the event expanding to run for five days.
Previous speakers at the festival include footballer turned successful entrepreneur Gary Neville; Leo Pearlman, Managing Partner of production company Fulwell 73, who are behind plans to build one of Europe’s largest film studios in Sunderland; and Dame Irene Hays owner and founder of Hays Travel, the UK’s largest independent travel agent.
The festival is being organised by Sunderland Business Partnership, a collective of organisations – large and small – all with an interest in the city’s development, creating opportunities for members to collaborate and grow, and helping Sunderland to be a dynamic destination for business.
Rob Lawson OBE, chair of Sunderland Business Partnership, said: “It’s great to be able to bring Sunderland Business Festival back for another year. Last year’s event was a huge success, with really positive feedback from attendees.
“We’re hoping to build on that success and create another highly engaging event that attracts attendees from across the region.
“Sunderland – and the wider North East – has a vibrant business community and events like this shine a spotlight on that.”
The full festival line-up – including headline speakers – will be announced over the coming weeks. Those interested in the latest updates can sign up to the mailing list at www.sbfestival.co.uk
