A North East shopping centre’s management staff were commended at an award ceremony last month.
The Bridges attended the prestigious SCEPTRE Awards held The Dorchester hotel in London on Wednesday June 20.
The annual awards ceremony held specifically for the shopping centre industry celebrates the best practice and the best people in the shopping centre industry.
They are the pre-eminent accolades in the shopping centre industry, putting the spotlight on management teams, retailers and suppliers that demonstrate real excellence with scores of UK and Ireland shopping centres enter and attending the awards each year.
Whilst there were no wins for the Bridges, they still came back to Sunderland smiling and celebrating.
Samantha Czwordon-Auld and John Green from the Bridges management team received Highly Commended awards for Marketing Manager and Retail Liaison Manager of the year.
John Green in his response to being commended with Retail Liaison Manager of the year said, “It was an honour to receive this award as recognition for the work we do for our all our retailers and I’m really proud to be part of a winning team at the Bridges”
John, Sam, Centre Director Andy Bradley and the team were all delighted with the accolades.
Sam was just as proud John as she said, “It was amazing to be recognised for the work we do for the centre, the city and within both our business and shopper communities.”
