Sunderland-based housing association, Gentoo Group, has appointed Peter Lenehan as its new Executive Director of Finance.
Peter brings 15 years of senior financial management experience to the post and has worked for a number of social and residential housing providers, including North Star Housing Group and Home Group.
His most recent position was Executive Director, Resources for Beyond Housing where he oversaw all financial matters in the merger of Coast & Country Housing and Yorkshire Coast Homes.

The appointment is the latest in a series of senior changes at Gentoo, which include Carol Long recently joining the Group Board and Nigel Wilson set to take up the Chief Executive position in January 2019. Peter Lenehan will join Gentoo as Executive Director of Finance in February 2019.
