One of the most popular high street brands has officially opened its doors at a brand new location in Sunderland city centre.
Leading retailer New Look has secured long-term premises in a huge store right at the heart of the Bridges.
And along with a complete selection of new stock it will sell some different ranges from those previously available at its former outlet in the city.
The store occupies sites previously occupied by Disney Store and HMV and is the result of a £1m investment by the shopping centre.
Karen Eve, Centre Director at the Bridges, said she is delighted shoppers “can now get inside and see all the fantastic items on offer.
“The store is in a prime position in the centre,” she said, “and we know it will be really well received.
“The relocation protects the future of a well-shopped high street brand in Sunderland. It is part of a phased plan to keep our favourite shops by placing them in the units that best suit their needs.”
